Hello, I'm Tess, the owner and maker behind Ralphie & Fin!

I started off making keepsakes and decorations from air dry clay for our family and friends as gifts or as small details to add to their events. In anticipation of the arrival of our son (Ralph) in 2022 I started to create more and more, especially to remember key moments along the way.

Once our son had arrived, I continued to make gifts for friends and family and started to include my son in my makes. It wasn’t until one Christmas when we went all out and created lots of Christmas decorations for our first Christmas tree as a 3 that my husband suggested sharing them with people I might not know. Ralphie & Fin is now heading in to it’s second year and I’m excited to see what’s ahead!

I work from my home studio in Gloucester alongside our bouncy Goldendoodle (Fin) and work on Ralphie & Fin in the evenings & weekends after I’ve finished my day job and mothering (although that never seems to stop!) and it’s something that really helps relax and tap into my creativity. Coming up with new ideas is exciting and seeing photos of my makes in your houses is the best!

I love the versatility these keepsakes have, whether it's celebrating a newborn in the family, adding those finishing touches to a dinner party or wedding or adding to your box of Christmas decorations each year. It really brings me joy to create, make and then see others enjoy these too!
