What began as a simple hobby—crafting clay keepsakes and decorations as gifts for friends and family—soon became something much more meaningful. In the lead-up to welcoming our son Ralph in 2022, I found myself creating more and more, capturing the little milestones and adding personal touches to celebrations along the way.
After Ralph was born, my passion for making continued to grow. I began crafting gifts for loved ones, often with Ralph close by, inspiring new ideas. One Christmas, we filled our first family tree with handmade decorations, and it was then that my husband suggested I share my creations more widely. That festive spark turned into Ralphie & Fin—and now, as we head into our second year, I’m so excited for what’s to come!
I work from my home studio in Gloucester, usually with our bouncy Goldendoodle, Fin, keeping me company. Ralphie & Fin is a true labour of love, something I dedicate time to in the evenings and weekends after the day job winds down and motherhood duties (sort of) pause. It’s a creative outlet that brings me real joy—and helps me slow down and reconnect with the things I love.
As the business has grown, so has my vision. Now in my second year, I’ve been developing new products inspired by this season of life—whether it’s motherhood, family, or simple moments worth remembering. I’m also starting to attend local markets, and it’s been such a joy to meet customers in person and share the story behind each piece.
Coming up with new ideas is one of my favourite parts of the process, but seeing photos of your homes decorated with my pieces is the absolute best! I love the versatility of these keepsakes—whether it’s to celebrate a new baby, add a meaningful detail to a wedding or dinner party, or grow your Christmas collection year by year. It means the world to me to create something that becomes part of your special moments.
